Welcome

Living in Tuscany for 20 years with my Venetian mother, I experienced first hand the sensory delights of fine Italian arts and crafts.

Evoking tactile memories of the brilliance and depth of precious stones, Italian pietra dura, malachite, lapis lazuli and the rich gold tones of tortoiseshell, I created this line of one of a kind, hand painted silks
and silk velvets.

These signed and numbered works of wearable art are created in my Baltimore studio using fiber reactive dyes and time honored traditional artisan’s techniques in a variety of sizes and an array of brilliant colors
and patterns.
